Botanical Name: Althaea officinalis
 
Used for mild respiratory symptoms, including cough and sore throat. The leaves and roots both contain mucilaginous and antibacterial properties that has a soothing effect on inflamed membranes in the mouth and throat. The root is also used to support a healthy digestive system.  Can be made into a “drawing paste”, when applied to a splinter, thorn or bee sting. Certified Organic
